Mariel is third generation of bakers.

After gaining his diploma at the Valencia School of Bakery and Cakemaking, Carlos Mariel has worked with Electrolux Baking and as technical advisor for Latin America and Spain with Irinox, a company specialising in industrial refrigeration for baking, cakemaking and the catering sector. A specialist in natural starter doughs and additive-free bread, he now lectures at the Richemont School in Lucerne (Switzerland). He has travelled and continues to travel all over the world, lecturing on baking at the best schools.
