Remember! Time change and also works on the metro
Problems on the metro line to Ifema. The clocks go forward on the Sunday before the congress.
The service on Metro Madrid's L8, the only line to Ifema, will be interrupted between the Colombia and Mar de Cristal stops during Madrid Fusión. This means that the journey from Nuevos Ministerios to Feria de Madrid can't be made on the metro alone. Passengers have the option of a bus change. The Madrid Regional Transport Consortium has laid on a bus between the two stations affected, and passengers can then take the metro again at Mar de Cristal and continue their journey to Feria de Madrid. The bus will operate on the metro timetable (06h to 02h), every 2-5 minutes until 22h, and every 6-7 minutes from 22h to 02h.
You'll get there in the end. You just have to add a little more time to your plans.
Talking of plans, the clocks go forward on the Sunday before Madrid Fusión Alimentos de España. Specifically, in the early morning between Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 March. That night the clocks will go forward by one hour, and so at 02h in the morning it will be 03h.
