Madrid Fusión Pastry and MF Wine Edition Wines from Spain II. Unmissable events.

 

Madrid Fusión Pastry comes into being, the Madrid Fusión congress specialised in bakery, confectionary and chocolate. And the MF Wine Edition Wines from Spain will look deeper into the necessary connection between wine and gastronomy.

At the same time, Madrid Fusión Pastry comes to life, a Madrid Fusión congress to proclaim the importance of great Spanish pastry and bakery, with the presence of the most important figures and most inspiring pastry chefs in the European arena. A congress which is finalising a tight programme full of demonstrations, including some of its own competitions such as ‘The Best Chocolate Cake’ in Spain. 

Among the international stars who will participate in this first Pastry Fusión edition will be the world’s best pizzaiolo, Franco Pepe (Pepe in Grani, Caiazzo), and the best pâtissier in Italy, Gianluca Fusto. 

In addition, the Madrid Fusión Pastry programme will also include the great references in the pastry and chocolate world in Spain, among others Paco and Jacob Torreblanca, Albert Adrià and David Gil, Jordi Butrón and Ricard Martínez, Carles Mampel, Frédéric Bau, Miquel Guarro, Josep Maria Guerola and Ana Lucía Jarquín, Olivier Fernández, Andrea Dopico, Lucila Canero or Puy Vélez and Ricardo Vélez or Stephanie Vastel.

MF The Wine Edition Wines from Spain

Madrid Fusión Alimentos de España 2022 will also host the second edition of the MF The Wine Edition Wines from Spain for discovering new trends, new talents and act as a discussion and learning forum of a sector which is a key part of our culture and our gastronomy. 

This 2nd International Wine Congress of Madrid Fusión The Wine Edition Wines from Spain aims at creating the necessary connection between wine and gastronomy which is of so much interest to both sectors. To this end, it will include international chefs, sommeliers, winemakers, catalysts and thinkers who are key actors in the sector, who will shape a complete agenda of conferences, panel sessions, tastings and pairings and presentations throughout the three days of the event.

Pedro Ballesteros MW, James Spreadbury (Restaurant Noma***), Mohammed Benadballah (Restaurante Etxebarri*), Almudena Alberca (MW), Peter Sisseck (Dominio de Pingus), Raúl Igual (Restaurant Yaín), Ferran Centelles (Ex-Sommelier of El Bulli), Albert Adrià and David Gil (alma mater and pastry chief of elBarri), Andreas Kubach (MW), María José López de Heredia (Viña Tondonia), are some of the key speakers of this edition, and will address such interesting issues on stage such as recovering mountainsides, the personality of small towns, the silent revolution of Rioja or La Raya as a region of great Iberian wines.
