Grand Iberian wines are made on the border between Spain and Portugal, in a unique and singular region known as La Raya.
The land border between Spain and Portugal, known colloquially as "La Raya", is quite a broad concept, referring to the geographic area where the Portuguese and the Spanish share history, culture and economy. Pedro Ballesteros MW and Pedro Ramos, sommelier at Lisbon's Alma** restaurant, will be heading up a classic tasting session with Iberian wines from this unique, singular location.
